Material Characteristics

HP Elastomer TPU is a versatile material that can be used for multi-jet fusion. Parts produced with this material have balanced properties, good flexibility and shock absorption, and can be printed with very fine structures with a high level of detail. It is suitable for industrial parts for sports and leisure, footwear, transportation, jigs and fixtures.

TPU-01 is a multi-purpose material developed by chemical giant BASF for Hewlett-Packard, commercially known as UltraSint TPU-01, and is specifically designed for use in the Multi Jet r Fusion process (MJF). Parts produced with this material are well-balanced, have both good flexibility and vibration damping, and can be printed with very fine structures with a high level of detail and good UV and hydrolysis resistance.

Comparison of HP elastic TPU and white TPU:

The HP elastic TPU molding process is Multi-Jet Fusion (MJF) technology and the white elastic TPU is laser sintering (SLS process). Compared to the SLS white TPU, the HP elastic TPU particles are finer and the print product will be finer, with a higher level of detail and a greater range of operating temperatures, with a high temperature of about 100 degrees and better low temperature performance.
Overall HP TPU test data is more comprehensive, the product comes from the chemical giant BASF, the material reliability is more trustworthy.
