New Aluminum Alloy 6061

6061 is a common 6-series aluminum alloy (labeled 6xxx), with good mechanical properties, can be a variety of heat treatment and welding, especially weldability, through welding + heat treatment, you can achieve almost no loss of performance of the welded parts.

Aluminum alloy 6061 is also a kind of aluminum-magnesium-silicon alloy, with the original AlMgSi10 compared to the magnesium and silicon content are greatly reduced, so in the strength of the convenience, AlMgSi10 is stronger than 6061, tensile and compressive properties can be good, but in terms of flexibility and ductility, 6061 will be more superior. In addition, AlMgSi10 can only be oxidized to black, while 6061 can be oxidized to a variety of colors through post-processing.
